Members stay informed through regular email updates from the HMPA President and Board of Directors, delivering news, announcements, and important developments as they happen.

The website also features a members-only Job Bank, accessible through secure, password-protected access.

In addition, members can easily find the HMPA event calendar, registration and reservation forms, CLE library listings, and a photo gallery highlighting HMPA events and milestones.

  nEWSLETTER: bURDEN OF pROOF

Burden of Proof is HMPA’s quarterly newsletter and a valued member benefit—serving as the primary connection between the Board of Directors and our membership. More than just updates, it’s a platform for sharing ideas, insights, and experiences across our paralegal community.

Members are encouraged to contribute articles and perspectives. Each issue features meeting dates, student columns, professional development and placement resources, pro bono opportunities, vendor advertising, and timely news impacting the legal profession.

  PARAMOUNT Mentorship Program

The Paramount Paralegal Mentorship Program connects participants with experienced paralegal mentors who provide guidance, support, and real-world insight.

Together, mentors and mentees set meaningful goals and take practical steps toward long-term success.

Open to HMPA members, the program is designed to support students, recent graduates, and transitioning paralegals seeking direction as they enter the profession or move into a new legal practice area.
